Interested in Becoming a Vision Therapist? Join Our Team!
At Vision Ability, we're passionate about helping children and adults improve their visual skills and quality of life through individualized vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation.
We are always interested in connecting with dedicated, compassionate individuals who would like to join our team as Vision Therapists.
Whether you're an experienced Vision Therapist, a teacher looking for a career change, a retired healthcare professional, or someone with a background in education, rehabilitation, or patient care, we'd love to hear from you!
Who Are We Looking For?
You don't necessarily need previous experience in vision therapy to be a great fit for our team. We welcome individuals from a variety of professional backgrounds, including:
Experienced Vision Therapists looking to continue their careers in a supportive clinical environment.
Teachers and Educators who enjoy working one-on-one with children and helping individuals develop new skills.
Retired or Semi-Retired Healthcare Professionals who want to continue making a difference through meaningful, patient-focused work.
Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Professionals interested in expanding their knowledge of visual rehabilitation.
Individuals with Backgrounds in Psychology, Child Development, or Healthcare who are passionate about helping others overcome challenges.
What Does a Vision Therapist Do?
Vision Therapists work directly with patients under the supervision of an optometrist to help develop and improve visual skills through individualized therapeutic activities.
At Vision Ability, our therapists work with children and adults experiencing challenges with eye coordination, focusing, eye tracking, visual processing, and vision-related difficulties following concussions or acquired brain injuries.
As a Vision Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, support their progress, and make a positive impact on their everyday lives.
What Makes a Great Vision Therapist?
We're looking for individuals who are:
Patient, compassionate, and encouraging
Comfortable working with both children and adults
Creative and enthusiastic about teaching new skills
Strong communicators who enjoy working one-on-one with patients
Organized, reliable, and attentive to detail
Eager to learn and develop professionally
Previous vision therapy experience is an asset, but not necessarily required. A willingness to learn and a genuine passion for helping others are equally important.
