Sarah completed her Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology at Trent University in 2026 after returning to Ottawa in 2022. Prior to this, she spent five years living in Singapore, where she completed her International Baccalaureate diploma. During her time there, she volunteered with AWWA supporting children with autism through after-school programming and also volunteered helping children learn English.

Alongside her work at the clinic, Sarah also worked as a Residential Support Worker supporting women and gender-diverse individuals impacted by the criminal justice system. Through both her academic studies and frontline experience, she developed a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and the importance of creating a compassionate, supportive environment. Her experience in healthcare and frontline social services has strengthened her ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and provide empathetic, patient-centered support.

Sarah is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, heard, and supported throughout their care journey at the clinic.

Outside of the clinic, Sarah enjoys staying active at the gym, spending time with her fiancé and their three cats, and writing articles on topics related to criminology, social issues, and healthcare.
